Arteta expects “Saka, Martinelli” to be fit and ready to fight

Mikel Arteta believes both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will be fit for Arsenal’s clash against Southampton on Sunday

. Nelly has suffered a serious illness this week and a calf problem in the win over Leeds has kept him out of full fitness.

The Brazilian star missed Wednesday’s training session. But he came on as a substitute in Arsenal’s slash win over PSV on Thursday night.

Saka started the game. However, Arteta believes the duo will be fit for the battle this weekend:

“I think Saka is fine. He had a bit of a problem late in the game but hopefully he’ll be fine for Sunday’s game,” Arteta said.

“Martinelli Had a hard week He wasn’t feeling well this week. But the day before the game he felt better so we gave him a little bit of play.”
